Paroxysm of arrhythmia

Материал из CardioWiki

Paroxysm of arrhythmia is an attack accompanied by disturbances of the heart rhythm (rapidity, weakening, interruptions). It can occur several times a day and very rarely, depending on the underlying disease. At the same time arrhythmia can last from several minutes to several months.

Seizures can be provoked by:

  • strong physical activity,
  • stress,
  • infectious disease,
  • the use of certain medicines and other factors.

In people with chronic cardiovascular disorders, paroxysms of arrhythmia can occur without any cause and at any time, including in sleep.
